Suto's is a Y-Combinator startup in the area of Deep Learning. The talk is about Suto's journey through learning about machine learning techniques and solving problems with almost no data to start with, with a team that wasn't trained in ML/AI.
Speaker Bio:
Nima Gardideh started his career as an engineer in Xtreme Labs (now Pivotal Labs) at the forefront of mobile. He then moved on to start a company as co-founder CTO - the learnings of which have helped him become the Head of Mobile at Frank and Oak and later on the Head of Product at Taplytics, where he worked with clients like Target and Tinder on data-centric product design.
Now, he's back in the startup game again as the co-founder and CTO of Suto (https://asksuto.com) - a one-to-one product recommendation service.
