These elevators used to have rare fixtures and they were awesome to ride, but unfortunately, they’ve received a shoddily done modernization back in 2019. This is definitely one of the worst mod-jobs I’ve ever come across. Not to mention, they’re pathetically slower than before. I know I’m very critical of newer elevators, mainly because they’re built so cheaply and unreliably. I don’t understand why the mall would waste so much time, money and resources to modernize elevators that aren’t even that old and are still working fine. It’s genuinely so ridiculous. Not to mention, they’re already modernizing the food court elevator, which is from 1999 and it’s already being modded, even though it ran fine and wasn’t in bad shape at all. It makes no sense. In the end of the video, please excuse my strong language. I’m not using that to hurt anyone or offend anyone. I kind of had to have some humour when I came across this modernization. I’m not blaming, nor targeting anyone, not even the company who did this. I just don’t understand why the mall would waste so much money on modernizing elevators that are working perfectly fine and don’t need a mod, even though they’re not even that old.
