The wife kidnapped me for an epic 50th birthday adventure to Driggs, Idaho. KDIJ is home base for Dr. Rich "Doc" Sugden (USN retired) and his collection of old warbirds including the US Navy's T2 "Buckeye" trainer. I wasn't just going for a ride, I was going to fly it!!
In this episode, we get geared up, learn how to safely eject just in case, meet the good doctor, get airborne, and I take the controls for the first time as we pop over the Teton range on our way to Yellowstone!
