The Lagos State Internal Revenue Service has announced it will recover unpaid taxes from defaulting taxpayers through banks, employers, debtors, tenants, and business partners under the power of substitution provided in Section 60 of the Nigeria Tax Administration Act, 2025. The directive affects taxes, including Personal Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Stamp Duties, and Withholding Tax.
