Like I do is a song with as much intense and wild lore as the anime I’ve paired it with. It is a joint production where I composed and produced the music and my friend wrote the lyrics. She has asked that I don’t share her name for privacy reasons which is why it isn’t listed here or on the credits for the song. If that ever changes I will update both accordingly

She has told me that she wrote this song while facing an impossible situation with infidelity in her relationship. Reeling and heartbroken from the betrayal, this is one of the ways that she coped and processed her emotions

It is honestly a miracle that this song ever saw the light out of day after a massive falling out, a delayed album, a scrapped music video, a pandemic, a reconciliation, and you know, just gestures wildly to the world

Since it is such an emotionally charged song, it only seemed natural to pair it with one of the most intense and emotionally charged anime I know, Kakegurui. This one was so much fun to make and I am so happy with it turned out!

As a massive fan of anime, and also an Anime YouTuber ‪@NekoDecoPop‬ crossing over into the world of AMVs has been such a joy. I originally only made AMVs on my phone using Capcut so moving to desktop software truly has opened up a whole new world of creativity

This continues my AMV project which started in August and will continue through October. I will be releasing a new AMV every week until the end of October when I will be dropping a massive music project. See you all next week for To Be Continued
