Each Kiavash Music Persian Daf (دف ایرانی) is crafted to deliver an authentic and expressive sound, offering a rich spectrum of tones — from deep, resonant bass to bright, intricate jingle textures. This video demonstrates the 54 cm Large Daf, played to showcase its tonal depth, response, and playability.
Designed with a lightweight structure, this Daf allows for comfortable performance and precise control, making it suitable for extended playing sessions and complex rhythmic patterns.

🪵 Frame & Construction
The frame is crafted from premium Russian wood, selected for its strength and acoustic quality. No surface paint is used. Instead, the wood is sealed using a vacuum-applied protective coating, insulating it against humidity and climate changes while preventing warping or deformation over time.

🎨 Synthetic Skin & Artwork
This Daf features a high-quality synthetic head with custom-printed artwork. The design is applied using flatbed UV printing, followed by a thin UV protective coat that acts like a transparent shield — protecting the artwork from sweat, moisture, and regular performance wear.
