Beat and Rhythms | Student Learner Objective

I’m Mrs. G for Midlife Music Teacher and I have been a public school music educator for 26 years. Over my career I have taught Preschool through 6th grade general music, child and parent music workshops, integrated arts programs, beginner band, private clarinet and saxophone instruction and elementary and middle school chorus. I also work with two local universities to provide student teaching mentoring placements. I am currently working with my 16th student teacher this semester.
In my personal life I have been married for 27 years and I have a 21 year old daughter. She is a free lance artist and comic writer. (She designed my avatar for this channel. You can check her out at    / @jagarts_  ) I exercise on a regular basis. I have worked at being a better cook and I also like to crochet.
It’s due to all of this that I have LOTS of stories and experiences. I hope to share some of them here on this channel as advice or simply for entertainment.
