UNESCO Education for All

Just one third of countries have achieved all the measurable Education for All (EFA) goals set in 2000. Only half of countries have reached the most closely watched goal of universal primary school enrolment.

The 2015 EFA Global Monitoring Report (GMR) — produced by UNESCO — reveals that an additional $22 billion per year is still needed, on top of ambitious government commitments, to ensure the world meets the new education targets now set for 2030.
