The top scholars of the Northwoods Institute conduct their most innovative experiment to date. Future generations will no doubt reference our brave field work as the foundation for cutting edge studies.
In all seriousness there was very little difference in the effect of the 55 grain vs. 62 grain green tip. Stacking the shots didn't help but before I reviewed the video I had thought the shots were reversed with the 55 grain bullet ejecting more steel from the impact.
In the excitement I misspoke and indicated that the 2" steel would keep you safe. My intention was to say that the 2" would protect you from a standard .50 BMG ball round. Because I'm currently 4,000 miles from our filming site I was unable to correct the error.
