Sinistar Atari 5200 Conversion Review

This week we take a look at the Atari 5200 version of Sinistar. It was an 8 bit conversion of an arcade game that was originally released by Williams Electronics back in 1983. The 5200 version was available on AtariAge for quite a while but left with a bunch of other titles in the summer of 2023. So you can either download the rom to play on emulators or your Atari Max Flash Cart, or try to wait for one to pop up on eBay like I did...

Here is our review scale that we use for the games:

5 out of 5 is Perfect! A must own game if you have the console!
4 out of 5 is Great! Most people will want to have this!
3 out of 5 is Good. The game has flaws but I recommend it.
2 out of 5 is Bad. The game has major flaws and isn't fun to play.
1 out of 5 is garbage! This is the worst of the worst! Hot Garbage!
