If you have done any research on Flooded Lead Acid batteries you will know there is no such thing as a maintenance free battery of this type. To consider a battery maintenance free i believe it would be a Valve Regulated Lead Acid battery. Gel or Absorbent Glass Mat.
These batteries number 778DT made by East Penn under the Deka name are NOT maintenance free! Now i will be able to check electrolyte level and specific gravity of each cell.
