Donald Duck: "Donald's Vacation" (1940) - 35mm IB Tech Nitrate [5K Wetgate Overscan (5120x3840)]_v2

The first version of this video was blocked in many countries, so here's a second attempt at it with a shorter version (I hope everything's going to be good this time).

Here's another 5K quality clip of a classic Disney cartoon, taken from the original scan of a '40s nitrate. This nice and colorful IB Technicolor nitrate of the classic 1940 Donald Duck cartoon "Donald's Vacation", directed by Jack King, was acquired from John Conning's film collection, and is now part of my film collection. John is a long-time film collector, director, animator and writer; he has worked for years in the world of television and cinema in close contact with prominent figures such as Hanna and Barbera, he has worked on important series such as Mighty Mouse and curated the schedule of Saturday Morning Cartoons in the 70s and 80s. Despite being a great print in very nice shape, the original titles are incomplete, and part of Donald's headshot and the closing titles have been replaced with the ones from "The Autograph Hound" (1939). The 5K scan by Film-Tech Cinema Systems in Texas ( https://store.film-tech.com/) made it look amazing, thanks to the wetgate process which helps to remove lots of dirt, lines and scratches in order to make the scan looking extremely clean.

This print will soon be donated to my friends at The Cinema Museum in London, together with other prints from my film collection.
