Most dangerous places - Devil's path Bulgaria

"The Devil's path" eco-trail is located in The Rhodopes Mountain in Bulgaria, near the village of Borino. It is considered as one of the most dangerous ones. It consists of two distinct circles. The smaller one is about 4km long and takes about 3h and 30 min. The big circle is 10 km long. The eco-trail is very picturesque. There are signs from the village of Borino in the beginning of the eco-trail. There is a free car park. The path is a combination of easy and steep sections. The lowest point is 945m and the highest point is 1356m. It passes through the natural landmark "Devil's Bridge and the Waterfall". There is an ascent to a wooden gazebo, which faces the panoramic platform "Eagle Eye". Behind the gazebo, the road continues and reaches the tree of Orpheus and then goes to a wide meadow with a gazebo. After a descent, the trail ends.
Devils-eco-trail is a hiking trail that follows the river Buinovska and crosses a part of the Rhodope Mountains (around 20 km2). Part of the route is a natural path through the forest. Another one (the more interesting) is wooden stairs build in the steep rocks. Due to the steep terrain, people are moving slowly, but this allows you to look around – there is a lot of beauty to be seen.
There are some really scary moments especially for people that afraid of high, but just hold the parapet tightly and step slowly.

Идеята за изграждане на Дяволската пътека е породена от природния потенциал на левия приток на р. Буйновска, изследван и проучван цели 8 години. Местността представя уникално единство от силно атрактивна природна композиция, съчетание от скални форми, водопади, водни каскади, ерозионни котли, скални венци и др.
Обхваща територия от около 20 кв.км с две стартови точки: Северна стартова точка (северен паркинг) на 1 км източно от с.Борино и Южна стартова точка (южен паркинг) до водослива на Чатак дере с Буйновска река. Най-високата точка на трасето е 1356 м, а най-ниската 945 м, с наклони от 20-40 градуса, а при скалните венци наклонът е над 70 градуса. Високоатрактивната пътека е реализирана в т.н. два кръга - "Малък кръг" и "Голям кръг", като дължината на Малкият кръг е 3,8 км, а на Големият кръг 10,2 км., като и двата са свързани и имат една обща изходна точка — Южната стартова точка. За улеснения на посетителите са изградени два паркинга на изходните точки, информационни кабини, няколко чешми в нестандартен архитектурен стил, обзорни площадки с изгледи към скалните венци и отвесната скала на вр.Ушите /Орлово око/ 1502 метра, заслони с типична родопска архитектура, множество платформи и дървени мостове. Най-атрактивната част - преминаването под естествения скален "Дяволски мост" (Шейтан кьопрю) и през стеснения ждреловиден участък се преминава през дървени платформи, захванати със стоманени конзоли за скалите. С изграждането на тази туристическа инфраструктура посетителят ще има възможност да се докосне до два „скрити" водопада и да премине през „Скалният кулоар", като ще запази в себе си незабравими преживявания и емоции.
