We don't yet know for what this was written. It was probably written ~1959-1960. It appears in a collection of cues Goldsmith wrote for CBS's music library, which was to be used to track music into new productions. Some of that music was written specifically to be in the library, and some was pulled from existing productions.

Occasionally, there will be a set of cues with a matching theme. These usually came from an existing production, where a theme was developed to fit a developing narrative. This is a set of cues, which would make it seem like something pulled from an existing show.
But
1. Those cues tend to have their own names, usually not easily linkable to each other to boot. These are called "Autumn Love pt.1" and so forth, through pt. 7
2. We can find no evidence of a television episode (from the late '50s-early '60s), nor a radio episode, called Autumn Love! This is actually statistically surprising.
This music has been tracked into things, notably some episodes of The Twilight Zone and The Fugitive, which are the associations which come up from a Google search.
