The Loughanleagh Loop is a scenic 6 km waymarked walking trail located near Kingscourt and Bailieborough in County Cavan. Developed by the Loughanleagh & Muff Heritage Trust, this loop is ideal for all the family, offering an easy and enjoyable walk on a mix of gravel paths and quiet country roads.
Along the route, walkers are treated to wide open views of the surrounding countryside, especially where forestry has recently been cleared. A highlight of the walk is the Mass Rock, where a sheltered seating area provides the perfect spot to rest, enjoy refreshments and take in the peaceful setting.
Well signposted and easy to follow, the Loughanleagh Loop is a relaxed countryside walk that combines local heritage, fresh air and scenic views.
