Phantom Theater Kings Island Dark Ride Soundtrack

Opening in to the public on April 11th, 1992, Kings Island invited guests to experience experience Phantom Theater, a innovative new dark ride replacing the Smurf's Enchanted Voyage. The 5 minute ride journey takes guests through the abandoned Palace Theater, where the Maestro guides the tour, showcasing the various acts and spirits that haunt the building. Rick Bastrup of R&R Creative Design of Anaheim, CA designed the ride concept while AVG Inc. of Valencia, CA manufactured the 38 various animatronic figures throughout the ride. The ride closed July 14th, 2002 to make way for an overhaul that would see the ride layout transformed into Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle.
