Yamaha DX7 - Part 1 - Assessment

I recently posted a video about unboxing a Yamaha DX7 MkII FD. I was really excited to receive this synth having been looking for a 240v version of the Yamaha DX7 MkII FD for about 10 years that wasn't over priced for either working or the eternal get out, untested and selling for spares!.

Unfortunately the synth feature in this video was returned to the sender.

I have just come across another Yamaha MkII FD. This one has arrived at the workshop and has a few issues. Issues of course means a project is coming.

Here is the assessment of the work I have identified. More videos to follow.
