Early February 2024 I got the chance to go Razor fishing with Johnny Monks and grandson JJ at the helm for the day fishing for Razor clams in the Irish sea. The whole day had an echo of the past when back then the boat used to fish for prawns, were all 13 younger and JJ was at school in short pants. Changing times in Balbriggan and this video shows story of a declining industry on our doorstep that's happening right now.
