The story of Odin’s Wall is one of cunning, power, and destiny. A giant builder came to Asgard, offering to raise an unbreakable fortress in exchange for the Sun, the Moon, and the goddess Freyja. With the mighty horse Svaðilfari, the wall rose higher each night, until Loki intervened.
Disguised as a mare, he lured the stallion away, breaking the deal. The builder revealed his true nature as a mountain giant, only to be struck down by Thor’s hammer. From Loki’s union was born Sleipnir, the eight-legged steed that would become Odin’s companion.
This song brings that legend to life through Nordic folk instruments, echoing the sound of ancient stones rising under moonlight.
