Cape Jervis is a town in South Australia located near the western tip of Fleurieu Peninsula. It overlooks the coastline adjoining Gulf St Vincent, Investigator Strait and Backstairs Passage. It also overlooks the Cape Jervis Lighthouse and the port that is used by Kangaroo Island SeaLink company who operates the ferry service to Kangaroo Island.

2. Cape Jervis Lighthouse It was first lit on 10 August 1871. In 1972, the original tower was replaced by a new tower. The modern lighthouse was built in 1972 and is a white concrete building that is easily recognizable due to its unique shape.

To get to Kangaroo Island you have to travel through Cape Jervis-through the port that is used by Kangaroo Island SeaLink who operates the ferry service to Kangaroo Island.
