Butterfly Knife Restoration. In this video, I show the restoration of a butterfly knife. This knife was found on the seashore. I don’t think it’s very old, but it was damaged, and I decided to restore it.
I was lucky because the blade is made of stainless steel and had only minor damage. The brass handle was in worse condition, and the handle scales were completely missing.
I removed the oxidation from the brass, polished the blade and the handle, and made new handle scales from stabilized oak wood.
