Reclaiming Identity: Ellie Cohanim

Ellie Cohanim, an American broadcast journalist who was Deputy Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism at the United States Department of State. She has spoken out against prejudice and hate on many levels. Today, however, she is here also because of her personal heritage – Ms. Cohanim herself was born in Tehran. Ms. Cohanim tells of the deep heritage of Jews across the MENA.
