How To Earn More Coins with Labs in The Tower (The Tower Idle Tower Defense)

What’s up guys, Spartan here, bringing you a video on how to earn more coins by optimizing your lab upgrades in The Tower. Your lab is a crucial part of your progression in TT. In this video, I discuss the general labs for economy that you should try to upgrade as well as your ultimate weapon labs. By optimizing these labs. I have been able to increase my coins beyond what many of my fellow players at my similar level are making.

Generally Econ Labs: The main lab upgrade you will want to develop by far is your Coins / Kill Bonus. This will impact the coins dropped by enemies you kill significantly.

Perks Labs: The two perks labs you want to upgrade are going to be your Standard Perk Bonus lab and your Improve Tradeoff Perks lab. These two not only improve your economy but also affect your survivability as well which helps you climb to higher tiers/waves therefore increasing your coin income.

Ultimate Weapon Labs: Golden Tower Bonus will be the main contributor here for two reasons. First, it gets you a bonus on coins killed during the GT duration but it also gets your more cash for enemies killed during the duration. This will net you more coins and also give you more cash to do upgrades during your run for added survivability.

Black Hole Coin Bonus is the second I would recommend because especially if you have double black hole lab unlocked, you will get a coin multiplier for each enemy killed inside of the black hole. Stacking this with Golden Tower will add both multipliers together netting noticeably higher coin income.

Spotlight & Death Wave Coin Bonuses: There two are more optional as I haven’t seen them affect my coins substantially, however they do add to the total income so don’t sleep on them.

Biggest tip: The main thing I will say is that you should always make sure that you have a lab going. In terms of what to upgrade will depend largely on your towers, weaknesses and strength. I would say use your lab upgrades strictly on your towers weaknesses. For example, if you struggle with surviving and pushing to hire tears, consider upgrading things like health, defense, percentage, and health regen. If you’re struggling in tournaments, consider upgrading things like damage in a tax speed. And if you are struggling with coin income or having enough cash during your runs to upgrade the way that you need to, consider upgrading some Econ labs.
