Driving thru St Stephen NB. Small town on the SW corner of New Brunswick, on the border with Calais Maine. Settlers were here in 1604, and the town incorporated in 1871. The St Croix River passes in the town. It is home to the head office of Ganong Brothers Chocolates. I came here to take some pics of an old hydroelectric dam that is being demolished. The Milltown dam was built in 1881 on the St. Croix River, and is the oldest in Canada. It was built to power a cotton mill located close by. I'm glad I got to see it before it's gone :(
