On September 28, 2025, Pastor Tim Lenahan continued our series in the Gospel of Mark with a message titled “Calling the Twelve” from Mark 3:7–19. In this passage, we see the growing crowds that followed Jesus, His power to heal, and His authority over unclean spirits. Most importantly, we witness the moment when Jesus called and appointed the twelve apostles—ordinary men chosen to be with Him, to learn from Him, and to be sent out to preach and minister in His name.
This message challenges us to consider what it truly means to follow Jesus: to be called, to be with Him, and to be sent out for His purposes.
