Onicha-Ugbo People Celebrate In Cultural Heritage Festival In Delta

Despite the great influence of western civilization, the people of Onicha-Ugbo in Delta State still hold tightly their rich cultural heritage.
This was evident when they celebrated their annual ‘Ine Festival’ to mark the end of the farming season and to commemorate their victorious battle of liberation from the Benin Kingdom in 1750.
