【絶景吊橋】しまなみ海道 因島大橋 ドローン空撮 広島県尾道市 /Drone Aerial Video of Innoshima Bridge in Onomichi City, Hiroshima

因島大橋は『しまなみ海道』の向島と因島間に架かる吊橋で、本州側から2つ目の橋です。
橋の高さは海抜50m、全長は1,270mの2層構造になっていて、上部が自動車専用の道路、下部は歩行者・自転車専用道路となっているので、絶景を眺めながらの散歩やサイクリングが楽しめます。
因島大橋が架かる布刈(めかり)瀬戸は，海峡幅約800m，最大水深約50m，潮流は最大約5ノットという環境の中、海峡の副航路として一日約400隻の船舶が航行していたため、桁下高さは50m以上を確保する必要がありました。
建設当時、日本国内ではこのような環境で架ける橋は存在せず，これまでにない大規模なものであったため，東洋一の吊橋として大いに注目されていました。
そのため、映画『男はつらいよ 口笛を吹く寅次郎』のロケ地として使われており、竣工前の因島大橋が映画のラストシーンに登場しています。
橋を支えているメインケーブルの素線の総延長は約31,400kmにもなり、おおよそ地球の3/4周分にも相当する長さで、当時の吊橋としては世界一の素線の長さだったそうです。　
因島大橋建設の技術や経験は，その後建設された鉄道併設の『瀬戸大橋』、世界初の３連吊橋『来島海峡大橋』や世界最大の吊橋『明石海峡大橋』などの本州四国連絡橋に生かされました。

Innoshima Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the Shimanami Kaido between Mukaishima and Innoshima, and is the second bridge from the Honshu side.
The bridge is 50m above sea level and has a total length of 1,270m, with a two-tiered structure, the upper part being a road for cars only, and the lower part being a road for pedestrians and bicycles only, so you can enjoy walking or cycling while taking in the spectacular views.
Mekari Seto, where Innoshima Bridge spans, is a strait about 800m wide, with a maximum depth of about 50m and a maximum current of about 5 knots. As about 400 ships navigated through it daily as a secondary route to the strait, it was necessary to ensure that the clearance height was at least 50m.
At the time of construction, there were no bridges in Japan that could be spanned in such an environment, and as it was an unprecedented large-scale structure, it attracted a lot of attention as the largest suspension bridge in the Orient.
For this reason, it was used as a filming location for the movie "Tora-san's Whistling Adventure," and the Innoshima Bridge before its completion appears in the film's final scene.
The total length of the wires in the main cables supporting the bridge is approximately 31,400 km, a length roughly equivalent to 3/4 of the circumference of the Earth, and at the time it was the longest wire length of any suspension bridge in the world.
The technology and experience gained from the construction of the Innoshima Bridge was later used in the construction of the Honshu-Shikoku Bridge, including the Seto Bridge, which was built alongside a railway, the world's first triple suspension bridge, the Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge, and the world's largest suspension bridge, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.
