Downtown Smoke Shop & Breakroom Market Update in Rochester

This week, Bucky Beeman visited Peter Andrews, the owner of Downtown Smoke Shop and Breakroom located at 325 South  Broadway Ave, Rochester, MN 55904, located near the corner of South Broadway and Fourth Street in downtown Rochester.

Downtown Smoke Shop and Breakroom is a specialty downtown Rochester retailer offering tobacco products, electronic cigarettes (vapes), low‑dose THC, kratom, adult novelties, glass pieces, snacks, drinks, and a small selection of home grow gear. The shop also provides a “breakroom” space convenient for downtown workers, including Mayo Clinic employees, to stop in for a quick break.

Owner Peter Andrews previously managed Downtown Intimates / The THC Joint until its closure in July. He opened this location to bring a smoke shop back to downtown Rochester with high visibility on Broadway. The location caters both to daytime workers and the late-night downtown crowd, with hours extending past 1 a.m.

Sunday: 12 p.m. – 12 a.m.
