Hirondelle Catamaran Refurbishment Project.

The second installment shows me lifting the boat on to a trailer and towing her 150 miles from Dauntless Boatyard in Canvey Island to my Workshop in Nottinghamshire.

As the width of a Hirondelle Catamaran is 3.05m (10ft) wide, it exceeds the 'normal' towing regulations - anything up to 2.9m in width, therefore, means notification has to be made to National Highways (formerly Highways England) a minimum of 48 hrs before travel using their ESDAL online portal
