In July 2018 I embarked on a 3 week whistlestop tour of Western Europe, covering Brussels, Cologne, Frankfurt, Nuremburg, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Salzburg, Munich, Zurich, Milan, Lyon and Paris. I hoped to pay for at least some of my trip by busking in each city, but encountered many obstacles to doing so. This video explores the benefits and risks of travelling with your music, and I try to offer the best advice possible for anybody hoping to follow a similar route.
