This film shows the importance of Learning Disability Liaison Nurses & Hospital Champions - we would like to see champions in every hospital ward and department in the UK.
Champions understand and value patients with learning disabilities and give them the care they deserve.
Our brother Paul Ridd died in 2009 from neglect and lack of understanding of LD and Paul's needs. The Paul Ridd Foundation has been set up as a legacy to Paul. Together we can make a difference. #seetheperson
