Asians are one of the fastest growing populations in the United States, yet, Asian immigrants face significant barriers in accessing and utilizing mental health services. The William James College Asian Mental Health program works to reduce these barriers, break down stigma and train culturally-responsive clinicians to meet the mental health needs of culturally diverse individuals, families and communities.
Here, Thanh Phan, a student in the Asian Mental Health program, talks to her parents about mental health and pursuing a career in psychology.
