MeTV Toons - Popeye - Me Musical Nephews (1942) Black & White Classic Copyright Free (6:44) - After practicing their music one evening, tired Popeye sends them off to bed, even though they aren't yet tired. While in bed, the nephews start to pick up objects that are laying around and start making music using them. Popeye hears the noise, and after thinking it was only the radio, he then checks in on his nephews who are pretending to be asleep. He's sure they are the ones playing the music, so he tries to catch them in the act. After finally giving up trying to catch them he ends up going crazy and jumps through the movie theater screen as the music continues playing through the ending.

A colorized version of the musical portion of this cartoon with the nephews playing their homemade instruments was used in a promo by Boomerang (Cartoon Network) in the early 2000's.
