I've been visiting Holme fell since August 2021 and I've found it to be a great location for landscape photography.

Its only a short hike from the car park at Hodge close, where you can be at the tarn in 10-15 minutes and on top of the ridge line in under half an hour from the car.

There's so much to explore as it has an abundance of heather, silver birch trees, a small tarn, woodland and great views of the Langdales and the distant fells.

I use Holme fell a lot when I'm on holiday with Helen as I can pop out in the morning and evening for a few hours and then still have the majority of the day with her to hike or explore the local towns, pubs or tea rooms.
