Life on a narrowboat means staying flexible — especially when canal closures and unpredictable weather throw a wrench in your cruising plans. After a couple of years, smooth sailing - our luck has finally run out! A water shortage has forced the closure of the Aylesbury Arm on the Grand Union Canal, bringing our journey to an unexpected CHANGE. We're also faced with every narrowboater’s worst nightmare — strong winds! Making it nearly impossible to leave our mooring!
We arrive in Cosgrove, where we meet up with our boat electrician in the hope of fixing a narrowboat electrical issue.
Join us as we take on the challenges of canal life, adapt to whatever comes our way, and find joy in the ups and downs of living aboard on the UK’s beautiful waterways.
