Morgan Heritage - Live In Concert - Summer Jam Festival 2025

Peter "Peetah" Morgan, Una Morgan, Roy "Gramps" Morgan, Nakhamyah "Lukes" Morgan, and Memmalatel "Mr. Mojo" Morgan were the founders of Morgan Heritage. In 1994 they performed for the first time at the reggae Sunsplash in Jamaica. They were hired by MCA on the spot and released their debut album "Miracles" in the same year.

From 1997 to 2001, they recorded several albums and were part of the Vans Warped Tour. Their eclectic sound shows how different the influences of the band members are: in addition to reggae, they include rock, hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Afrobeat. In 2008, her eighth album "Mission in Progress" was released. After several years of working on solo projects, the band reunited in 2012 to release the single "The Return".

Since then, the band has reunited and collaborated with many reggae bands and DJs, including Capleton, Junior Kelly, Luciano and Gentleman. The group's 2015 album "Strictly Roots" won the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. In 2019, they received a second Grammy for "Avrakedabra". In February 2024, lead singer Peter "Peetah" Morgan died at the age of 46.

The Grammy-winning reggae band was founded in 1994 by five children of reggae icon Denroy Morgan. Morgan Heritage are known worldwide for their captivating stage presence and rousing show talent.
