Friday the 7th of May, Hamish and I headed up to the Cairngorms, after carefully watching forecasts all week and waiting to pounce on the right day. The Met Office promised us a powder day and the Cairngorms delivered! We skied Jacob’s Ladder and Aladdin’s Couloir in near-perfect conditions then poodled back down through the ski area to the van. Line of the season? You decide.
