2 Instant Leftover Roti Recipes | Roti Lasagna + Roti Samosa
Ghar ki bacchi hui rotiyon ka BEST makeover!
Aaj hum bana rahe hain 2 super-delicious, quick & budget-friendly recipes — perfect for snacks, tiffin & dinner.
✔ Veg Roti Lasagna (creamy, cheesy, Italian-style fusion)
✔ Crispy Roti Samosa (perfect tea-time snack)
⭐ (1) Roti Lasagna / Veg Roti Lasagna
A) Pink Sauce (for 6 leftover rotis)
2 tbsp Oil & butter (तेल व मक्खन)
1 tbsp Garlic, 2 tsp mashed (लहसुन मेश किया हुआ)
1 no Chopped onion (कटा हुआ प्याज़)
½ cup Tomato puree (टमाटर प्यूरी)
1 tsp Oregano (ओरिगेनो)
1 tsp Chilli flakes (चिली फ्लेक्स)
1 tsp Sugar (चीनी)
½ tsp Black pepper powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर)
¼ cup Fresh cream (फ्रेश क्रीम)
¼ cup Milk (दूध)
Salt to taste (स्वादानुसार नमक)
B) Sautéed Vegetables (सॉटेड सब्ज़ियाँ)
2 tbsp Oil (तेल)
½ tsp Garlic (लहसुन)
¼ cup Carrot – chopped (गाजर)
¼ cup Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च)
¼ cup Bell peppers (लाल/पीली शिमला मिर्च)
¼ cup Boiled corn (कॉर्न)
⭐ Method (विधि)
1. Make Pink Sauce
Heat oil & butter.
Add garlic & onion, sauté until soft.
Add tomato puree and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Add oregano, chilli flakes, sugar, pepper & salt.
Add cream and milk.
Cook until creamy & smooth.
2. Sauté the Vegetables
Heat oil.
Add garlic.
Add carrot, capsicum, bell peppers & corn.
Toss on high flame 2–3 mins.
Add salt, oregano, chilli flakes (optional).
3. Layering Lasagna
Leftover rotis (lasagna sheets)
Pink sauce
Sautéed veggies
Mozzarella + processed cheese
Chilli flakes
Oregano
📌 Repeat layers and bake OR cook covered until cheese melts.
⭐ (2) Roti Samosa:
A) Stuffing (भरावन)
2 Boiled potatoes (उबले आलू)
2–3 Green chillies, chopped (कटी हरी मिर्च)
1 Onion, finely chopped (कटा प्याज़)
1 tsp Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
½ tsp Turmeric powder (हल्दी)
1 tsp Chaat masala (चाट मसाला)
1 tsp Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर)
1 tsp Garam masala (गरम मसाला)
1 tsp Kasuri methi (कसूरी मेथी)
1 tsp Amchur powder (आमचूर पाउडर)
Coriander leaves (धनिया)
Salt to taste (नमक)
⭐ Stuffing Method
Mash boiled potatoes.
Add all spices + onion + green chilli + coriander.
Mix well and set aside.
B) Covering Batter (कोटिंग बैटर)
1 cup Besan (बेसन)
½ tsp Turmeric (हल्दी)
½ tsp Ajwain (अजवाइन)
1 tsp Green chilli paste (हरी मिर्च पेस्ट)
Pinch of soda (चुटकीभर सोडा)
Salt to taste (नमक)
Water as required (पानी)
Bread crumbs as required (ब्रेडक्रम्ब्स)
⭐ Samosa Making Method
Take leftover roti & cut into halves.
Fill the potato stuffing.
Fold into a samosa shape.
Dip in besan batter.
Coat with breadcrumbs.
Fry till golden & crispy.
