People Of The Book: Kongo -3

Long before foreign tongues spoke the name of God, the people of Kongo already knew Him Nzambi Mpungu, the unseen Creator who breathed life into everything that moved. They lived by fitrah, the natural awareness of divine order written in every human heart. Their justice was balance. Their worship was gratitude. Their music, their rhythm, their language all of it praised the Creator who made them.

They saw no separation between life and spirit. To plant was to pray. To heal was to restore peace. To forgive was to keep the universe in harmony. The nganga healed bodies and souls alike, and the rhythm of ngoma carried voices to the unseen proof that even before revelation, the earth already remembered its Lord.

When greed and arrogance entered, the balance broke. Yet even through the fall, Allah’s mercy remained. The rhythm of Kongo its music, its prayer, its strength crossed oceans inside hearts that refused to forget. What the world called dispersion, Allah called decree.
