“Just a Closer Walk with Thee”. A special Song 🐣for Easter ❤️✝️🎵

Hi Friends and Happy Easter!
Today, I am sharing something that goes back to my gospel roots. I am sharing a lovely old hymn, playing it in a honky tonk style today, on my acoustic guitar. I also share some special moments at some gorgeous beaches I have visited in Queensland, Australia, beautiful Byron Bay, New South Wales, and my recent visit to Phuket, Thailand. Easter is a very special time, and while I love to share my art, music was on my heart for Easter. In this video, I have recorded the classis song, “Just a closer walk with Thee”, in my home studio space. Please note there are flashing, probing lights throughout the video, so you may wish to avoid this content if you have photosensitivity. I have also added this information to the start of the video.
As far as I am aware, the songs origin is unknown, but it is often sung at funerals, funnily enough! But I simply love this song, because it talks about “walking” with Jesus. For me, that sums up how I live my faith!
I have added the lyrics too, on the video, and down below, in case you would like to sing along with me. Singing is so fun, and it simply makes you feel good, whatever is happening in your life. (PS: Sorry, the auto lyrics were used, and there’s a couple of mistakes I didn’t pick up! - correct full lyrics are below.
