In this golf tips video we will review how to produce a draw using an advanced technique aimed at better golfers. Indeed, in contrast to the easier method of drawing the golf ball, this technique does not see you modifying your setup position (stance and clubface position) but rather modifying your swing and hand movement at impact.

In order to produce a draw, you will need to execute an outside-to-in swing and club path combined with a clubface that is closed to that path at impact. But as we’ve mentioned earlier these do not happen as a result of modifications in your address position at setup. Rather, bring your club inside during the downswing and make sure to roll your hands aggressively at impact and during your extension, rotation and release of the club.

The combination of an inside-to-out club path combined with a closed-to-the-path clubface will exert sidespin of the right-to-left variety (for a right handed golfer) and if you do it properly should see your ball starting to the right of target and moving to the left in flight to land on target.
