Sabrina Mukhtar, MD, MPH, speaks about a personalized approach to dry eye care.
Sabrina Mukhtar, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh with a specific interest in refractive surgery, cornea, and ocular surface disease. She obtained her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University SOM and completed her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) where she served as chief resident. Dr. Mukhtar stayed at UPMC to complete her Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship. Apart from a scholarly and clinical focus on dry eye, she routinely performs cataract, corneal, and refractive surgery. She currently is the Director of the Dry Eye Center of Excellence at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
