The UMKC Accordion Orchestra plays, Gershwin!, in Chicago in 1992. This piece is arranged by their conductor & accordion professor, Joan Cochran Sommers who is one of the world's leading accordion teachers & adjudicators. The members of the orchestra are studying with her at the UMKC Conservatory of Music, using the accordion as a major. The orchestra is famous and has performed many times abroad including, Russia.
