Citizens of the New California Republic. I speak to you today with a heavy heart, and burning resolve. On this day January 7th, 2283. Elements of the "Exercitus Aquarum", The Legion's new naval infantry force, struck the town of Picacho and surrounding settlements in a dastardly attempt, to undermine the integrity of the Republic. They slaughtered the men and abducted our women and children, taking them back to Legion Territory. For years we have dealt with the pestilent scourge that is Caesar, and On the daily our brave soldiers have spilled blood to keep tyrants like them from questioning our way of life. It is time to put a stop to it all, it is time to put the bull down! They are no longer the band of raiders and tribals we looked down upon, they are the scourge of the future, and the enemy of civilization as we know it. We will not allow their shadows to darken our future.  We have fought on too long to falter now. Let this moment mark the dawn of a new resolve. The Legion believes their rivers run red with our fear. They are mistaken. We will flood their lands with the fire of our justice! 



And so I have passed a new Initiative, "Bombs over Flagstaff". We will not sit idly by as they plunder our borders and grow ever stronger by the day. We will take the fight to their heartlands. I have ordered the restoration of the Old American strategic bomber fleet. With this we will decapitate the bull. We will rain fire upon their fortresses and supply chains, we will show them the might of the future, and the wrath of the gods they worship. Only after that will we march east and reclaim the old world for the wasteland! 



Let this not be remembered as a campaign of revenge, but of survival and of necessity! 



I know many of you are weary of war. I've felt firsthand the sacrifices you have made. I know of the sons, brothers, and husbands that never came home. The Sleepless Nights, the empty dinner table. I have heard your cries for peace and I share your wails of longing.



But peace cannot exist when men like Caesar do. Those who feed on fear and thrive in conquest will be stopped at our gates. So let it be known, that bombs over flagstaff will signal the last war against the legion. We will fight in the skies, we will fight on the rivers and lakes, we will fight in the deserts, in the mountains, and in the valleys. We will not fail, we will not falter, this is our fight and this will be our victory.
