*CLOSE RANGE* Selden, KS Tornado - Hits Town - Full Chase and Aftermath

Here it is! My 16-minute video of the Selden, KS tornado from yesterday! The chase was definitely one of the best chases for me next to the Ashby/Dalton, MN EF4 last July - just an insanely slow-moving photogenic tornado on paved roads. Got within a hundred yards but honestly got caught in the RFD/circulation a few times. As the tornado was getting close to town I noted how rapidly it was starting to grow as it seemed like the whole meso was about to plant on the ground! Thankfully it didn’t and the town of Selden, KS really dodged a more devastating bullet. There was obviously still damage but I definitely think it could have been a lot worse. Afterward, I was able to get into town and film some of the damage. I was also able to talk with some of the locals and hear their stories about how they experienced the tornado. To my knowledge, no one was injured or killed thank goodness.

As for the people in Selden, KS, it was encouraging to see the community and those from surrounding towns come together to help clean up. Please continue to pray for this town and those that were affected.
