The school leadership and teachers from three schools in Shepparton Victoria discuss their collaborative professional learning community. The PLC provides a mechanism to draw numeracy leaders together from each school to work with a math consultant. Informed by their work with the consultant the numeracy leaders trial new activities in their own classrooms and then plan and run professional learning sessions for the teachers from all three schools. The sessions introduce teachers to the trialed activities and provide support and advice for them in introducing the activities into their classrooms.
