Had to do a higher particle count of the same video- with 250,000 balls, yes 1/4 million! Shot from the same angles. It’s hard to do these high particle count molecular sims - you need to make sure you’re baking to disk, and sometimes the whole bake cache just disappears if you open it in Blender on another computer.

But I finally managed to get this working, and currently working on my biggest molecular sim ever (1,000,000 particles!) so keep an eye out if you want to see that :) The 1 million particle sim will be a different scene as well - I’ve already milked this interior scene enough hahaha.

Rendered in Blender, with Cycles, the moecular + addon (formerly the molecular script by PyroEvil)
