This is the only time I've ever seriously thought, "maybe I should turn around." Pritchett Canyon trail in Moab is infamously difficult, and one of the major obstacles is Down and Dirty. The first Jeep in our group got stuck between a ledge and a truck-sized boulder and almost debeaded a tire trying to get out. My daily driver had to survive this trail and drive home, but with teamwork we got everyone through in one piece and it was one of my biggest trail accomplishments.
Pritchett Canyon is also a Jeep Badge of Honor trail (the hardest one in my opinion). Extreme ledges, incredibly steep obstacles, and a significant chance of rollovers make it dangerous even for experienced drivers. I don't mind admitting that winched our way through most of the trail, and that's the attitude that kept us safe.
