The END of an Era. / Animal Jam CLASSIC

On the 27th of April 2020, the remnants of what we once perceived as Animal Jam were completely disintegrated, and our childhood diminished before our very own eyes. For countless years now AJHQ has done everything in their power to degrade and neglect our main PC port of the game with the complete lack of content & updates. And finally for the game’s 10 year anniversary, AJ decided to completely butcher their main game, but more importantly, make a statement that they no longer intend to put effort into or focus on their main PC game title, but rather focus completely on their MOBILE APP counterpart; Animal Jam Play Wild, which has now received the renown honour title of our once beloved Animal Jam. With limited time remaining before our CLASSIC Animal Jam’s inevitable shut down, join me as I explain in detail what led to these excruciatingly damaging changes for the company, and what exactly caused the main game AJ PC to be doomed. I’m Patch the community’s anarchist, and I’m happy to document one of the biggest downfalls of this community, a pinnacle case study of the WildWorks company failure that is the terrible rebranding that triggered the ENTIRE game’s player-base. (Yes I understand I am like 6 months late but I hope this highly edited and scripted analysis video is both entertaining and provides some well deserved critique from a 20 year old ‘Jammer’ lolendme).
