Crystal Cave Pennsylvania - Is it worth going to?

We have an interest in nature and science and have been wanting to go to Crystal Cave for several years now. On 3/30/2025, we finally made it. The admission is $20 per person. Once paid, you proceed up a fairly steep path to the cave entrance building. You are shown a video about the cave and then the tour starts. There are about 200 steps throughout the tour. This was not relayed to us prior to paying for our tickets or during the cave introduction and video. If you have any kind of leg issues, the steps will be an issue and will take away from your experience.
Our group was extra large because of staffing issues, and another group was still making its way out as we were going in. We could hear both guides at the same time, which was distracting. Our guide was informative and did a good job. The cave was interesting and it was cool to see several of the features, but overall, we were underwhelmed and expected much more. We would say that it is kind of worth seeing, but not worth the $20 per person, especially for a family with several kids. This is a once and done for us and is absolutely a cash grab. They should include something else with the admission price such as a game of miniature golf, an ice cream cone, or something small and worthwhile from the gift shop. The admission should only be $5 to $8. The gift shop is full of overpriced merchandise some of which are hundreds of dollars. For the amount of people that they are funneling through this place each day, they are really raking in the money.
